Chapter 10 Summary

To keep it brief Chapter 10 is about introduction to data on the internet. It goes into what is data. The terminology along with how we protect and cleanse our data. When it comes to data our privacy matters. However, when we agree to terms and conditions we give our consent for companies to track our data. I always clear my cache and delete my data especially if I am no longer using an app or software. I don’t believe that companies should sell our data. They claim to protect it but sometimes their protection and security is just so lousy. It's not worth the hassle it brings about. Which is exactly why I rarely use social media, I don’t put myself out there for this exact reason.
